One of the best parts of Mamdani’s victory was the invocation of Eugene Debs, reintroducing the US public to socialism as a part of this country’s history & its deep roots in “the Heartland”. It’s not only history that can’t be erased, it’s looking like the solution to the ails of “Trump country”.
