Gave this a whirl almost a year ago & let it fall by the wayside. So gratified to see it's grown in the interim & the insightful, funny, friendly and supportive posts I'm reading are hopefully a good sign for the future. Let's put some positive energy back out in the universe...

I actually like going to the office over the holidays. About 1/3 less traffic, can play music without disturbing my neighbors, have meeting-free concentrated drafting time and can still take stretch breaks to appreciate the view... #NYC #photography

On an AA flight that landed at JFK waiting for a gate. Two littles were crying because of their ear pain on landing. After a couple minutes the flight attendant started singing *Twinkle Twinkle little star’, the entire plane joined in, the kids stopped crying, and this is the world I wanna live in.

Basic knitter here. Starting a sweater in the round (never done before). Re-started magic loop 4x to even it out. Now that's ok, but now big, uneven edge where I cast on. Pattern didn't specify long-tail so I didn't do it. If I redo this w/long tail, will it clean up the edge? 🧶 #knitting #learning

And this is why I went to grad school, friends - to be outsmarted by the cat...
Genius cat (Morgana) heading into the fireplace to slap at the pilot light knob & try to turn it on herself, while not-smart-but-sweet cat Gwennie observes. Morgana watched me turning it on & remembered the details *the next day*. Just glad she hasn't figured out to grow herself thumbs... #cats
