Time will tell whether #PopeLeoXIV will have a positive impact on the world, but it does make me happy to think how annoyed Trump must be that is not the no longer the most powerful American.

Columbia, Paul Weiss et al are like Dem party leadership. [source: I was an elected Dem.] For the most part they’re not capitulating, not even cowering.

It’s laughable but further proof Columbia is not capitulating but using the demand and cowardice as cover to do what it’s wanted to do from the start.
In the NYT right now, from a Justice Dept lawyer: “I will tell you right now that Columbia has not in my opinion — and the opinion of the Department of Justice — has not cleaned up their act,” Mr. Terrell said. “They’re not even close, not even close to having those funds unfrozen.”
