As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

they won’t. they don’t offer anything beyond gestures because their corporate donors are fundamentally happy with the status quo.

they fought tooth and nail to stop zohran and will do everything they can to cut him off at the knees while in power
After Zohran’s win, if Dems reorient their party back to New Deal-style populism and genuinely combat the corporations and billionaires ruining everyone’s lives, then this moment of discontent across the country could have staying power — and be a positive force.
Welcome To The New Uprising
Zohran Mamdani’s victory could be a turning point for Democrats — if the party finally learns from its past leaders’ betrayals.

Honestly you're all experiencing what women and POC experience all the fucking time which is watching how no one will actually make a white man accountable for his actions when his actions involve harming someone who is not also a white man. Isn't it frustrating?
This Trump/Epstein stuff is so typical of a modern political "scandal," in that ... we know he did it. He knows he did it. Everyone knows he did it & everyone knows that everyone knows he did it. There is zero "did he do it?" involved here. The whole thing is about ... what, exactly?

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

14 year anniversary of that time I won NFG at jury trial, securing acquittal in 9 minutes, and the judge proceeded to criticize me on the record.

for years I saw it as kinda funny. as I’ve matured, I see that old yt man made sure to publicly try and put me—a [then young] Black woman—in my place.

What did you think they would do to you after you told them genocide was okay?
You watched them sponsor the terror and slaughter of the people of Gaza. You saw it livestreamed on your phone.
You saw children carrying their siblings' body parts in bags.

And you sent them donations and endorsed them.

MSNBC reported Schumer's office felt that the longer that shutdown went on, the more likely it was that people would start to blame the Dems.

My kingdom for Democrats that don't govern out of fear. I've said it before and I'll say it again: The American people are far braver than their reps.
November 10, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Like I said.👇🏽
so many folks are upset by these headlines wrongfully blaming Dems, but really you should be enjoying this brief moment when Dems pretend to do some of that fighting back they swore they were gonna do.

dont worry. they’ll cave as soon as the photo op passes.
BREAKING: Democrats vote down a GOP bill to keep the government open, putting it on track for shutdown after midnight.

In the midst of all that we are facing, I want us to think about who we are being told to look to for understanding in this moment, who is being propped up as the voice of wisdom, and ask how right were they in predicting this, a year ago, 5, 8 years ago, and then ask why they are being centered now

Barring Jews from government was one of the Nazis' signature moves. Every American Jew has an obligation to speak out against the new Nazis trying to do the same to Muslims.

I feel like people on Bluesky who have convinced themselves that the institutional Left in the United States is pro Trump and falling over backwards to credit Trump should have to reckon with the fact that the only Palestinian in Congress, and a DSA member, says (rightly) that the ceasefire is fake.

I’ve always been a bit puritanical when it comes to language, but never have “bad” words irked me more than during the recent spate of Pritzker & co. cussing in faux bravado.

I was just in a training where the presenter said fuck 4x + shit 6x in 20 mins.

damn that gratuitous shit pisses me tf off

2—being groped by a stranger in public is not sexual harassment but may be sexual battery/assault

Denver got it all wrong allowing the ban on flavored tobacco. I don’t have capacity to explain.

other than harassment, racism, and the Speaker forcing us to violate open mtgs law daily—

not having capacity to explain bad bills with good titles was probably the hardest part of being a legislator.
