I started clonidine at night a week ago and reduced my lorazepam, developed a funny dry cough that gets worse when I take a deep breath. Not happening all the time. Wondering if it's from lorazepam withdrawal as I've been on it a long time. Clonidine is a low dose because my bp tanks.

Traumatized people often have gotten stuck in a headspace in childhood where it was incredibly unsafe to be honest about how you feel. Growing up in a hyper individualistic society means that they are prized for not being vulnerable and never learn how to express their feelings to others

Insurance's (Blue Cross) refusal to cover 100% of couple's counseling under one account is discriminatory and patently unfair. If someone is at the session, they should be able to claim it, full stop. Don't get me started on their policy of only covering psychs and MSWs.

So, I'm taking clonidine and it's calmed my POTS right down, but it also is causing low bp - albeit without significant side effects. I like having less fight/flight response so far. I like sleeping better but I'm getting low bp at pretty low doses that don't ensure I actually stay asleep
