I said "People of all ages need the booster. We will destroy the workforce and create a massive burden on the healthcare system in the long run if we limit the boosters to a small group. I can only imagine the stress you’ve been under, having salisbury steak for brains, and still being elevated to the highest echelons of government. Thank goodness that in your second month on the job you texted sensitive military information to a journalist, ending the charade that you are competent or qualified for your position in any way. It must feel amazing, like the physical sensation of drunkenly shitting your pants in that brief instant before you realize that your pants are now full of shit, something I assume you know about firsthand, but that’s just conjecture. The bar has crashed through the floor and has rolled into the corner of a spooky sub-basement.

Hence, the mammals of Africa and Eurasia had lot of time to evolve a fear of the humans as the proto-humans’ hunting skill slowly improved. In contrast, the giant mammals of Australia and New Guinea, without any evolutionary …” A second text screenshot, continuing the first. It reads “preparation, suddenly confronted the humans with developed hunting skills and were soon wiped out. For the giant mammals of New Guinea and Australia, it was a sort of ‘culture clash’. The humans in New Guinea and Australia killed these giant mammals for food, and some of these animals also died indirectly due to fire and habitat modification by the humans. I’m not swearing when I say it like that I’m praying.
Someone down at the computer company had entered the numbers in wrong is what he said. I didn’t fully understand it but my son tried explaining it to me anyway. He said long story short the code had been put in upside down and so now the phones were acting weird and showing me pictures in my feed of memories that hadn’t yet come to pass. Innocuous things at first mostly. A gorgeous grilled sandwich with thick strips of bacon and plump salted sweating tomatoes with the gooey cheese melting over the toasted rye at a pub in Portsmouth I guess we’re going to be going to next year. Now a photo of a cup of pudding on a sterile tray. Another with an oxygen tube in my nose and me giving the finger to show I’m still myself. Still the type of guy who would do that. The boy called me later that night and said they had fixed the bug in the code and if I rebooted my machine it would all go back to how it was before and I was going to do it but not just yet I still had the rest of my life to recoil from for a little while. Jesus Christ is that how things go? Not just for me but for everyone. I’m not swearing when I say it like that I’m praying.
