Is it policy that ukhomeoffice must fail in EVERY area it operates?

Time for the break-up of Home Office is in plain sight.

Arse about face

(though may also explain facial discoloration of a character in recent South Park episodes)
Glad that someone has finally taken responsibility for the appalling assault on democracy that was the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Slightly confused that it's the Director-General of the BBC, but what do I know?

The Telegraph had to correct its multiple lies about "illegal immigrants" in London at least three separate times.
It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.

Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

A man came to Broadview searching for his wife of five years after she was taken by ICE at her court hearing. He wasn’t told anything, tracked her by her phone, and was left weeping in the parking lot.

They couldn’t be clearer they don’t give a crap, if they wore coats that said so. It is important to note however they do feel very strongly about feeding the poor in Argentina!

Westminster. The bellwether of Britain's moral collapse.
Completely beyond why people try to defend Labour record on treatment of asylum seekers. They are awful.
They have done terrible things the Tories never even thought of, like denying any refugee who came here through irregular means from EVER becoming a citizen & ENDING FAMILY REUNIFICATION. demons.

Every Tory vote kills
Not only does the UK government waste vast sums of money on demonising those seeking asylum, now it appears that they are complicit in quite a number needing it in the first place. Choosing to save money over a genocide, again. #r4today

🚨Let's treat childcare like infrastructure.

In a new report written with the brilliant Mandu Reid, I am calling for Universal Free Childcare to be moved forward as serious policy.

This is a big vision and I hope others will come to share it.

Dear GOD if you want to save money in the asylum system

1. LET ASYLUM SEEKERS WORK

2. FAST TRACK STATUS FOR EVERYONE FROM CLEARLY UNDAFE COUNTRIES like Sudan, Syria, etc

3. Run an asylum accommodation system that is NOT FOR PROFIT #r4today

I know how they got to that point.

Because we’re a few steps behind, living through the “getting to that point” right now in the UK.
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

Probably, because there is no official ‘will’ to know.

As far as the government is concerned there’s no motivation to collect this info… and anyway… they just don’t care!
