The only thing I miss about Twitter is that that is where I would go to at a time like this where I just want to say that David Strathairn is a smoke show in A League of Their Own and that’s the whole tweet. I don’t know that that’s bluesky content. I can’t tell yet.

so, i think i figured out the issue some folks here are having: you think you're on snapchat, not twitter. those tweets from five minutes ago? still there!

(and i don't want to blow your mind, but tweets from three years ago where you acted like crazy toddlers? still there!)

clearly i don't have a lot going on today. so i'm just marveling over our failures as humans and wondering if a mandatory day of touching grass would be beneficial to us all. like nickelodeon's day of play? except adults who spend all day online go outside and try to act like normal people.

the number one thing that disappoints me about fandom is how often people completely biff it and refuse to utilize the tools, access and privilege they're given. i mean, it's also funny and not unexpected, but it's still disappointing. the great things that could be done...and just aren't. because.

I don’t really understand why people who position themselves as subject matter experts and the “source” act coy about information and talk in riddles. It’s not cute. And it doesn’t make you sound like you have the inside scoop. It just makes you sound like you have no idea what you’re talking about.
