Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.

LitRPG & Progression micro-reviews for 2024!

#21 Mage Errant by John Bierce

Magic school misfits get into trouble and get out of it in ways that eventually lead to more trouble and maybe the end of the world, while having surprisingly healthy relationships.

I've been an avid reader since I was young. It's harder as I get older, and I use audio books and know that I can get an e-reader to give me a bigger font. What I am trying to understand is what is LitRPG? Is this a book that is read? Is it a game a la a board game?
Any help from the BlueSky folks?

Hi all, I'm Ryn and I write litrpg under my dead name turned penname Jonathan Smidt! For those who don't know, litrpg novels are books with video game mechanics added to them (think like isekai anime and such). If you enjoy video games and DnD, you'll enjoy these!

There's a bizarre and ongoing mainstream effort to launder RFK Jr into someone who just wants to get Americans eating nutritious food and exercising again but that is not evidenced anywhere in his public statements or career in public life.

He is a liar and conspiracist.

A big part of my growth as both an artist and writer, esp with my comics, is no longer caring what an audience thinks of my work. Tyree is some of my best work BECAUSE it is specifically for myself and experimental. Some of my favorite indie comics follow this method as well.

> me, hastily removing my reference to The Odyssey because I concur with this take and am also a contemporary of Homer
As a reader, I have realized that I am NOT a fan of seeing pop culture references in books. Most of the time I don’t get the reference, but even more, I feel like it instantly dates the book. I guess some people like that sort of thing, but I do not. #amreading #books #readerthoughts

@aaron.bsky.team @safety.bsky.app I'm adding my old white male cis voice to this.

Singal has no place on Bluesky.
I, too, am a cis person who does not want Jesse Singal on here. He's a transphobe who has built clout & career out of disseminating alarmist misinformation. His work is not reporting or investigation. It's lies. He does not deserve a platform or the benefit of the doubt. He has shown who he is.
kinda feel like the Bsky team won't listen to trans users about this, so I'll say it as a Cis Person: I don't want Jesse Singal on here spreading his lying hateful "just asking questions" bullshit. he is not acting in good faith, he causes active harm, and he adds nothing worthwhile to this platform

“Again, the creators could not be more clear that these characters are horrible people… There is a difference between thinking Darth Vader is an awesome character in the fictional context of Star Wars and, you know, wanting to be like Darth Vader, a psychotic child-killer.”
