An investigation into Russian interference in our politics is long overdue. And we all know who should be questioned first.

Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

#FamilyHistory 1880 burial register. If someone 'gave the order', would you take that to be the person who paid for the burial? I've come across a rather random burial with the order given by one of my distinctive family names ...

Small rant - why can't Ancestry distinguish between maiden and married names? You are NOT going to be baptised as a child with your married name and are pretty unlikely to be buried with your maiden name (in E&W, until recently, caveats etc) 😡 #FamilyHistory

#Liverpool (Stanley & Clarence Docks) 1848-64

The innovative nature of Liverpool is sometimes forgotten; the worlds’ first commercial enclosed wet dock complex in 1715 is now buried under a Liverpool One, but its success built a metropolis & changed the world.

Why is Ed Davey the only frontline politician to be saying this?
Journalist, "Farage accused the BBC of election interference"

Ed Davey, "The interference we've seen is from Farage's friend, Putin"

"We've seen Russian interference in the most appalling way"

I’ve written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage urging them to condemn Donald Trump’s attack on the BBC.

The BBC belongs to Britain, not Trump. We must defend it together.

Founded in 1907 to defend landowners’ interests, the CLA has fought against every major push to open up the countryside. From blocking early footpath reforms to opposing today’s right to roam movement, the CLA has stood on the wrong side of public access for over a century.

It’s easy to see why Trump wants to destroy the world’s number one news source. We can’t let him.

The BBC belongs to all of us here in the UK.

The Prime Minister and leaders from across the political spectrum should be united in telling Trump to keep his hands off it.

Hard to even know what to write when I see things like this. Look at it, here's your North/South divide. What's labour doing to address this? What did the Tories do? What have successive governments over the years actually done to address this?
