great thing about being a visual artist is that I can show friends work and get an immediate reaction. whereas with the novel if I send chapters to friends if I'm lucky one person might have found the time to read it and give feedback weeks later

I just saw a comment saying that Mike Graham was "the guy that thinks you can grow asphalt." I was going to correct them and say it was actually concrete, but figured there's no point arguing over cementics

i think artists should do like greek philosophers and combine the gym and the studio space. nobody's going to defund the arts when artists start looking like this (i was going to attach a pic of a really hench looking artist but couldn't find any. this only proves my point)
