They’re going to try to make you feel insane for opposing this war. They’ll ignore protests and downplay any opposition. They’ll try to strongarm you into submission.

They did it with Iraq and they’ll do it again.

And then a few years later they’ll pretend they were with you all along.

Wow so you’re telling me everyone who cheered on the Iraq war is on board with this now too? And so are the people who opposed the Iran nuclear deal and killed it?

You’re kidding.

It Doesn’t Matter What You Think About Iran and ‘Regime Change’
There is no agency. But there will be accountability.

Schumer enabled GOP power plays, failed to protect democracy, and abandoned the people when it mattered most. He’s lost the fight—and our trust. It’s time for new leadership.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Democracy is burning, and we need sites like Bluesky more than ever. And Senator Durbin wants to repeal 230, which would massively stifle the ability of sites like Bluesky to exist, while massively empowering X and Meta.

Why?

It seems that someone in his office doesn't understand 230.
It’s time to repeal Section 230. We must be able to take social media companies to court for addicting kids and enabling drug trafficking on their platforms.
Sen. DURBIN: Fentanyl often gets to our kids and young people through the internet.

Section 230 absolves social media companies from any responsibility. “That has got to end.”

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

a thing really important to point out is that the only reason why trump's impeachment trial happened after his term was up was because McConnell said so, that's why the House slow walked the articles because they woulda just rotted on the senate's desk anyway
McConnell's legacy is grim - he fought campaign finance reform, stonewalled Supreme court nominees - but what stands out most? More than any single person, he had the chance to end Trump but chose not to do so, even as he understood the risk Trump posed. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/jan-6-and-...
