That means less QA's overseeing 200% more work. Which is what they ultimately care about. Not keeping the same amount of QA's and finishing the work in less than twice the time, plus having the added benefit of more attention to detail. AI can be an advantage, but it's always used in stupid ways.
So they're going to do this for one, maybe two games. It'll be full speed ahead until it's 6 months from release and the game is falling apart, at which point they'll pay an insane overtime rate for a QA studio to do it last minute which won't be enough.
