With my partner's family we always do enchiladas for Xmas Eve and then some kind of regional or national food for Xmas Day. Mom always did little smokies and other apps for Xmas Eve. I think Xmas Day was usually a roast but the memories are fuzzy.
I literally don’t remember if we did anything special for Christmas. I don’t think so? We always did a big Christmas brunch though.
And new years was lobster.
Now I usually grab a frozen lasagna or something like that.

it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).
