My friends never believed this was a real dish. Until that one fateful sleepover...

Anyway, middle school was rough.

The university of Michigan released its consumer confidence index.

US consumer confidence is at the lowest level since 1951.

Trump tanked the economy in his first term!

Is he’s doing it to us again?

First, Trump pardoned the violent insurrectionists who beat cops.

Now, he pardons the key instigators of January 6th.

We need to see this for what it is:

An attempt to erase history, so it can be repeated.

OSCAR ISAAC, on whether he'd return to "Star Wars":

".. Yeah. I mean, I’d be open to it, although right now I’m not so open to working with Disney. But if they can kinda figure it out and, you know, not succumb to fascism, that would be great."

Of course these pardons are really about signaling to members of the current administration that are criming, “keep going, i got you”

Though none of the crooks have been charged Federally yet, my suspicion is either Bondi or Patel (or both?) found evidence of investigations into each and every co-conspirator named.

The Felon In Chief decided on preemptive pardons to stop any future DOJ from charging them or digging even deeper.
Pardoning your co-conspirators to own the libs!

Most of their charges are state charges, so this doesn’t actually help them. It’s gross, but it doesn’t really move the needle.

13) I think Dem leadership still suffers from frame drag. They think it's the 90s. Trump is dismantling the powers of Congress. They have to rise to that moment and demand big things.

Vought is expanding the playing field to thinks off the table. Dems need to do the same.

12) With the way the CR/minibus fight ended, real doubts about whether the Dems are smart... at least their leadership. Republicans negotiated good cop, bad cop, crazy cop.

What was the Dem ldrship negotiating strategy? Pretend to be one way to the public and another in private. Not good.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

These are paper pardons with no teeth as NONE of the people he “pardoned” were charged federally.

The Felon’s pardon power only covers fed charges, not the state charges they face or faced, so this is basically symbolic fodder for Foxnews & The Felon’s starving base to distract from shutdown pain.
POLITICO: “.. Among those who received the ‘full, complete and unconditional’ pardons were Rudy Giuliani .. Mark Meadows, .. John Eastman and Kenneth Chesebro, .. Boris Epshteyn .. and Sidney Powell ..”

#SCOTUS now has 48 hours (so, through 11:54 p.m. on Tuesday) to either grant the same relief or extend the "administrative stay" entered by Justice Jackson on Friday night.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
