I always, always feel guilty for some reason when I have a lazy day. But today is that day. A little touch-up painting prep. Drove my daughter and friends to #Wicked. Now watching the 90s #TheOuterLimits for a bit. I might use the bathroom later. Maybe. I'll think about it. #Saturday #vibes

This #Thanksgiving, I'm thankful my son is still with us. About a month ago, a car accident put him in the hospital for 3 days. Worst 3 days of my life because we didn't know what the outcome would be. He is thankfully OK, and was back on set a few days after. Today: Peace, #turkey, #StrangerThings.

Share a 90s movie you think deserves more love...

A brilliant debut, a super sexy neo-noir about two lesbians conspiring to steal millions from the mob. A chamber piece that feels much bigger. Great cast. Every scene crackles. Fav line: "It's fuckin' dark in here."

#RIP Spike, a #Burbank #Police #K9 officer killed in the line of duty last weekend. There's a sizable memorial growing at Burbank PD. Going walk over tomorrow and pay my respects. Rest now, hero. Good dog.

Hit up #RunyonCanyon today for a quick hike with the family--always fun. I was people-watching so much I barely snapped any pics. 😀

One of my all time favorite movies. I just rewatched it a few weeks ago — it’s the most realistic depiction of humanity in space ever made IMO. I keep hoping for a re-release or maybe that the NewBev will show it.
Taken from 'In Search Of Tomorrow'
(2022), a five hour documentary on 80s sci fi. Well worth renting.
Peter Hyams' love for Connery is evident here.

I take on average 10,000 stills and a half hour of video every week. Most I'll never think about again. This I'll hold onto until I grow old. 4 hours ago.

Zero edits. No recoloring. No cropping. Nothing. Just straight up reality. 🦑

This is a great script. If you've never read a Richard Price script, SEA OF LOVE is a great one to start with. The movie's fantastic, too: a thriller about Al Pacino's NYC cop entangled in a BASIC INSTINCT-type situation w/ Ellen Barkin's murder suspect. #screenwriting #screenplays

Interesting that there are 2 new TV shows with novelists as the protagonists: #PLURIBUS on AppleTV and #THEBEASTINME on Netflix. Both heroines are unhappy, cranky, angry, for different reasons. Hey, #writers are people, too. 😀

Planning to do the Great Los Angeles Walk this weekend. We did it last year and had a blast. This year's path is Pershing Square to Santa Monica. A great way to experience parts of the city I don't normally see on foot. #glaw
Did my first GREAT LOS ANGELES WALK yesterday w friends and family — an all-day stroll/hike through the city. The 2024 route was USC to UCLA -- 14 MILES. It's not a race, but a chance to explore. Took us 7 hours, with stops for points-of-interest, lunch, etc. I clocked 40,000 steps! #glaw

Now watching: #CHRISTINE (1983), John Carpenter's terrific adaptation of the #StephenKing novel. I've always loved it. The scene where Christine rebuilds herself is still heart-thumping. Arnie's a great, tragic character. And Buddy...that dbag had it coming.

Loved @realgdt.bsky.social's #FRANKENSTEIN. I avoided all reviews so I could experience it without preconceptions. It's thrilling, meditative and artfully grotesque. Loved the Wrightson flourishes. The creature design + Elordi's incredible performance are an iconic combination, a benchmark. 👍

#Pluribus on Apple TV: Terrific. Fun that the heroine is a writer. The book signing scene was hysterical, and the last scene in the pilot was as funny as it was terrifying. Can't wait to watch more. 👍

Heartbreaking. I am from a military family and sometimes think about what my grandfather, who served in the Pacific during WWII, would say about #Trump and #MAGA if he were alive to see this. I think he would say exactly this:

Always how I thought they could explain the various actors playing Bond: when a 007 falls or retires, a new one is installed w the code-name #JamesBond. All 00s follow this pattern. No need to really explain it, either. Just install a new Bond and let audiences put 2+2 together. 👍

I love spiders the way I love sharks (I have scars), which is to say I think spiders are fascinating and completely misunderstood. But this clip and the comments on this thread are complete nightmare fuel.
