Presenting: the new and improved www.wherewolfcomic.com! Designed by my wife and featuring the first of what will be weekly online webcomic drops, this site is better than I ever could have hoped for.
ATLANTIS (1991) - Luc Besson’s undersea doc is footage he shot in the aftermath of THE BIG BLUE, set to ‘90s Euro trance music. Like getting high and wondering the local aquarium while listening to a royalty free tribute to Zooropa, but actually not quite as fun.

When I worked for the Boy Scouts, I had to sign a document stating I was neither gay not an atheist. Now the Scouts are “too woke” for Pete Hegseth. Crazy stuff. www.npr.org/2025/11/25/n...
U.S. ready to cut support to Scouts, accusing them of attacking 'boy-friendly spaces'
Documents show the U.S. military is planning to sever all ties with the organization formerly known as the Boy Scouts.

I would say that I want to be the guy who gets to choose what expression action figures have on their faces, but that guy is already doing an incredible job. No notes.

Last month, my wife and I took a trip to Pigeon Forge, a place that is like Las Vegas, but run on rock candy instead of sin. I wanted to share a few of the things I experienced and learned during my trip to the land of Dolly Parton. Read at your own risk.

I watched PRETTY WOMAN for the first time. It blows my mind that Jason Alexander could play a would-be rapist in one of the biggest films of 1990, right as SEINFELD was beginning its climb to pop culture dominance. I guess he did also survive that ill-fated made-for-TV remake of BYE BYE BIRDY...

Said it before and guess what gonna say it again: I am so grateful that @robsaucedo.bsky.social takes animation seriously as a programming director. In my seat to watch Angel's Egg on the big screen tonight, which I NEVER thought I'd get to do.

Thank you, Rob!

THE LAST BATTLE (1983) - Le Mad Max. Problematic director Luc Besson’s debut is a black and white, wordless film about dudes living their worst lives in a post-apocalyptic France. Bleak yet frequently funny, the film features an impossibly young Jean Reno doing his best Lord Humongous! Plus synths!

I think RETURN TO OZ deserves to be reevaluated. Sure, it may my exceedingly dark at times and the special effects seem scientifically designed to have given children nightmares, but, on the other hand, there's a scene where Dorthey Gale's parents consent to giving her electroshock treatment.

If I were a kid assigned to write a 670-word essay about this by a teacher I'd write a 619-word essay and make my teacher read the whole thing. Then, when they tell me it's not enough words, I'd write a new one that's 669 words and make them read that.
I'm not a parent and I don't deal with kids, maybe for good reason, but maybe there's a way to deal with these things without becoming the cliched adults who bugged us when we were kids.

Maybe adults need to embrace 6 7 instead of fighting it?
