In the summer of 2023, I visited the set of @bryanfuller.bsky.social's DUST BUNNY in Budapest, and you can read all about it in the next issue of @fangoria.bsky.social!

But first, you should go see the movie - one of my favorites of the year - which is in theaters RIGHT NOW! 🐇🐇🐇

A wonderful family friend with autism and a learning disability was recently bullied and harassed, and she responded out of fear by throwing water on the person. She’s now being charged with assault. (1/2)

Holy shit what a great thread on WAKE UP DEAD MAN. Spoilers, eventually
Alice has now seen “Wake Up Dead Man” which means now I can talk about “Wake Up Dead Man” as approximately one million of you have asked me to do. intermittent live-blog in the quoted thread. gay Catholic musings below:

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

I have several of his movies more or less memorized. I’m trying to think if there’s another director that’s true of - I don’t think there is.

Every day I get to work on a special project with Jason is a very good day!
Still plenty of copies out there in the wild. Truly crazy people are digging this. @mereborders.bsky.social did an amazing job taking lead on this special issue and it was a lot of fun designing something a little different for FANGORIA. I really hope we do more.

I listened to @michaelvarrati.bsky.social riff extemporaneously about Baywatch Nights over dinner and it was the most entertaining meal of my life. Now you, too, can experience that joy!
