As I always do with boycotts, I urge: be tough with corporations, gentle with individual buyers. For some people, Black Friday sales are the way they get their kids jackets that fit, shoes that hold up to the weather. Yelling at them doesn’t help the cause.

His justification is basically “This is too complex” and “It’ll take years in pre-trial.” Between the lines, nobody eligible to take the case volunteered to, and I think this guy assigned it to himself only because somebody needed to resolve it. He doesn’t want to do the work, either.
