A woman recently went viral for holding up a window sign during a traffic stop, part of a growing trend of drivers using cards to assert their rights instead of speaking to police.

This book has been so soothing. I have probably learned more about the foreign policies that shape the world just in the first three chapters than I have in at least the last 15 years of news media. 🙃 It's helped clarify a lot of the absolutely batshit nonsense of the current timeline. COMFORT READ

Make a version of Anthony Bourdain’s famous mac & cheese. But used more cheese, less milk, and a tad more Worcestershire sauce plus a bit of soy sauce. It’s a thick roux and lots of stirring. So rich. But Theresa just said it’s the best macaroni & cheese she ever had. No joke

It shouldn’t take a slur that impacts you personally, or losing your healthcare or SNAP, or being forced to sell your farm, or having to watch a loved one get unjustly detained and deported...to walk away from a madman.

Cruelty isn’t strength.

Reject it.

Always.

Quite a metaphor. 👀

"The blaze [sent] panicked delegates racing to evacuate...rain from a torrential downpour leaked into the meeting spaces...There were complaints about food shortages, & the air-conditioning struggled to keep up with the high heat..."
