Another gentle reminder: this is no logic in the current administration. Don't waste time trying to suss it out. They literally don't think of the future and only want eyes on them. They think they're playing chess, but really they're playing tic-tac-toe.

#INGV reported that a new eruptive vent has opened near Mt. Simone at ~2,100 m a.s.l., feeding a lava flow down the Valle del Bove. The most advanced front has reached 1,500–1,400 m a.s.l.
INGV teams are currently on site monitoring the flow’s evolution.
