Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

In Exeter, a crowd has gathered with many writing the words “I oppose genocide - I support Palestine Action” on pieces of paper and boards.

They are taking action today outside Central Station, with many curious onlookers.

On my knees BEGGING journalists to stop calling it the “two-child benefit cap”. It’s two measures, the two-child limit, and the benefit cap. One is going, the other one isn’t.

Just heard the delightful Michael Gove on #r4today repeatedly saying it was accepted that COVID was a lab leak with no push back from the presenter. A quick check on Wikipedia says this is contentious at best. Is this just warmongering?

As ex-UK ambassador Craig Murray notes, the British government is self-evidently lying about a Russian ship being in "UK waters", and shining lasers into pilots' eyes.

Why is every media outlet's defence correspondent echoing these lies?

The Beat of the War Drums - Craig Murray
In fascist lockstep, the entire British media, broadcast and print, corporate and state, is leading with a Ministry of Defence press release about a “Russian spy ship” inside “British waters”. No Brit...

I was recently in a shop selling Scottish woollen jumpers. My first thought looking at the price tag was "Ack. There's no way I can afford that". My second thought was that I know knitters who'd struggle produce that jumper. Even at UK min wage, it'd have to be done in less than two days' labour.
The people who make Shein's clothes labor for ten to twelve hours per day (in violation of China's labor laws), some up to seven days a week, and earn as little as 15 to 30 cents per t-shirt.

Craig Murray: “It is a maxim in Scots law that the law cannot be absurd. To claim that Palestine Action is a terrorist organisation is plainly absurd. This proscription is a politically motivated action in support of a genocide, and it is poisoning Scottish civil society.”

As peaceful protestors are arrested for holding placards, starving Palestinians are being shot in the street.

This will go down as one of the most shameful moments in British legal history.

No amount of suppression can hide the truth: our government is complicit in genocide.

It is very hard to see how the UK government can sign this statement, which makes it absolutely clear that it recognises that Israel is committing - as a matter of state policy - deliberate and systematic war crimes, without at a minimum cutting all military cooperation with Israel.
