We need a legion of Democratic candidates that recite these facts like they're Zohran.
To recap:
•Universal healthcare would save 68,000 lives & $450B annually
•Every $1 spent on SNAP results in $1.80 boost to local economies & small businesses
•The child tax credit decreased child poverty to a historic low of 5.2%, abolishing it increased it by 45%

aerons are one million percent worth having, it's an incredible chair and your back will thank you

also you should never pay retail or close to it (unless your work is buying it for you), there are always a million used ones floating around because of office churn
it's some kind of journalistic malpractice to tell people an areon going for 30% off of $1600 is a meaningful "discount". you're supposed to get one from a shady facebook marketplace guy for $150 at most
Early Black Friday discounts—and a flash sale—help bring down the price of the iconic Herman Miller Aeron. www.wired.com/story/black-...

Praeli: I think what you see across the country is that families are facing skyrocketing prices for food, housing, child care, elder care — and immigration policies are directly tied to these.

I think I’ve showed this before, but I never mind a visit to the bathroom at this restaurant with a sort of prismatic version of Muybridge’s Horse in Motion.

As Matthew Sitman points out — like @zohrankmamdani (and MLK, etc) ‘1984’ author George Orwell was a Democratic Socialist who fought for workers.

He also opposed communism because the two are not the same things and words have meanings.

The thing I find the most interesting about it is that in my experience, the subjective quality of the poetry seemed to have a pretty significant correlation to it's prompt hacking effectiveness.

The closer you get to something that feels like it has independent literary value, the better it works

Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

Halligan's incompetence is so overwhelming that the practical legal answers of how to unravel the situation devolve to esoteric questions of philosophy.
So arguably the judge can’t dismiss the case because there is, technically, no case!

I've written about "disordered counterpublics" groups that reinforce shared delusions Here, the LLM becomes a 1 person counterpublic. It mirrors assumptions, absorbs contradictions, & provides the sense of a responsive, confirming audience.
It is the architecture of disordered discourse, automated.

I totally forgot that Chicagoans outside of the Loop will, when approaching a bus stop, mentally note the order of who got there when, and then patiently wait in line in the rain once the bus arrives so everyone can board in arrival order.
