Oh it’s too funny. Texas forces through partisan election maps and a court now finds it unconstitutional. In response, California HELD AN ELECTION about whether to redraw maps, which passed. Now the Texas maps are dead and California’s are very much alive. What a world.

Hosting a man who (per the CIA) ordered the murder of a journalist, Trump berates a journalist who dares to "embarrass our guest" by asking about it and later threatens to take away her network's license for asking about Epstein files.

Q: A provision was added allowing senators to sue the US govt for $500k. What do you say to that?

JEFFRIES: House Democrats are gonna offer an amendment before the Rules Committee to get that self-dealing sick provision out of the spending agreement

Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.
