Republicans cut $1 trillion from Medicaid, taking away health care from tens of millions, because, fundamentally, they don't think it should exist.

You know what else they don't think should exist? Medicare and Social Security. And it's only a matter of time before they're on the chopping block.
Steelers-Ravens is going to be amusing because neither fan base has any confidence that their team will win, and whoever does win will ultimately just set up another embarrassing home playoff loss.

Nah, Ben Wittes assured me that Attorney General William Barr would never let something like this happen on his watch!
Trump's DOJ was monitoring all the movements of the Miami Herald reporter who was covering the Epstein case.

Brady with the turtleneck and one glove (strategically pulled down enough to show off his watch) is an... interesting look.
December 28, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Close enough.
Honestly, it'll be hilarious if the Ravens lose tonight after that wild ending in Detroit, setting up the Steelers to (I think) clinch the division by beating the Browns next week, but they lose like 6-3 because their only receiver punched a fan mid-game and got suspended.
The funniest thing would be if Pittsburgh still pulls this game out but then DK Metcalf gets suspended for the last 2 games of the regular season and they blow the Ravens game to lose the division.
December 28, 2025 at 8:55 PM
The Steelers have had a ton of negative passing plays in their effort to avoid letting Garrett get a sack.
December 28, 2025 at 8:06 PM
Kyle Dugger really doing his best to fuel conspiracies about this game being rigged on that last touchdown pass.
December 28, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Sorry Geico, but I find it hard to believe that A.J. Brown wears wired earbuds when running on the treadmill.
December 28, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Announcers really treating this like it was a serious challenge and not a "we're about to take our last time out, so there's no reason not to have them take a look at it just in case" challenge.

If Huntley hadn't scrambled for a first down and Baltimore had turned the ball over on downs immediately after the 4th quarter started without Henry on the field I imagine everyone in Baltimore would've had an aneurysm.
Or they could just take him out mid-drive to start the 4th...
December 28, 2025 at 3:35 AM
If Henry scores a touchdown early in the 4th it sets up a very similar scenario to last week where he sat for the rest of the game.
December 28, 2025 at 3:25 AM
"Things starting to unravel for John Harbaugh and his team."

They've winning the game and have scored on every drive but one.
December 28, 2025 at 3:21 AM
I know Baltimore's defense isn't great, and they've allowed the Packers receivers to get wide open consistently, but still, I can only think of one or two throws from Willis that weren't right on the money.
December 28, 2025 at 3:17 AM
How did Green Bay's left tackle not get called for a hold on that suplex?

Likely would've been declined, but still gotta call that.
December 28, 2025 at 2:56 AM
Imagine being the Titans and giving up on Malik Willis after 2 seasons (and 3 starts) for a 7th-round pick because you had Will Levis.

Saw this ad again, and it's also just really weird! Collinsworth and Tirico are elves, and Collinsworth is worried because a guy is taking down Christmas decorations. Tirico says to focus on the game instead, which is very dumb because they won't be able to see the game if they get packed in a box!
Might want to stop airing that promo that says "it all starts with the quarterback" and name checks both Love and Jackson to lead off every ad break.

Not the point, but this is also another example of someone touting AI's ability to do something that's been easy to do for decades. Photoshop is older than I am!
The comments on this are all about how sweet it is and I feel insane. Using AI to make fake memories of your grandma with dementia and telling her they happened and then filming her reaction

I'm not a big fan of the Broncos' regular uniforms if only because the ones they switched from in the 90s were better, but these all-white ones are fantastic.
December 26, 2025 at 1:58 AM
Just turned on the Detroit-Minnesota game. Minnesota forced 6 turnovers and only scored 20 points?

IT'S [potentially, at some indeterminate point in the future] A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!
Here for those interested is the answer to my most frequently asked question of 2025 (and every other year till I die). I'll keep trying for a new set. MERRY BLOODY CHRISTMAS.

I have steadfastly refused to get excited about the Pirates seemingly acting like a normal team this offseason, but the moves are starting to add up. I'd expect them to be close to done, but if they make another move (Suarez? Okamoto?) I might have to jump on board.
Ryan O'Hearn isn't exciting, but when your lineup is as poor as PIT's was, even competent is a step forward.

A top 5 of Cruz, Lowe, O'Hearn, Horwitz, Reynolds isn't .. bad? With Griffin coming soon?

It's not good enough, either. This team is dying for a 3B or a corner OF. (or a 2B if Lowe is LF.)

Again, these sites removing bootleg TV clips posted without permission of the copyright owner is nothing new; it happens ALL THE TIME. And there's no viable fair use claim to wholesale reposts.

It's not censorship. It's not trying to please Trump. It's them avoiding lawsuits from copyright holders.
TikTok is removing clips of the leaked 60 Minutes segment.

The Ellison family (which acquired Paramount — CBS’s parent company — and The Free Press, making Bari Weiss Editor-in-Chief of CBS) is set to co-own TikTok through a Trump-backed deal.

It's intellectual property that the people posting it don't have the rights to. YouTube is VERY aggressive at removing videos for copyright claims. The same would happen if people tried posting any other 60 Minutes segment. It getting taken down has more to do with capitalism than censorship.
All of these bootlegged copies of the 60 Minutes segment flooding my feed (saying, ‘Watch it quick! Before it disappears!’) makes me feel like I’m in the Soviet Union and just got some black market foreign newspaper I need to hide under a floorboard in my house.

This is where America is now
December 23, 2025 at 2:33 AM
Say what you will about Bari Weiss, but you can't deny the strategic brilliance here. She's single-handedly gotten tons of people--who otherwise can't change the channel fast enough when the NFL games are over and 60 Minutes starts--to tune in this week [to a pirated copy of a canceled segment].

It's fun watching Philip Rivers make the case that arm strength absolutely does not matter for an NFL quarterback.
December 23, 2025 at 1:38 AM
What are these Colts uniforms? They need either way more black on the jerseys and pants or way less black on the helmets.
