Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

“The wealth gap is choking off growth, funnelling resources into property and financial assets rather than productive investment. It is worsening the housing crisis, which now stands as both a symptom and a driver of broader inequality”

Contrary to the PR hype the UK banking industry is not a paragon of free markets, efficiency, or honesty.

It is scandal-ridden. Can you name a pristine bank?

Govts shower subsidies and favours upon the industry in the hope that it will deliver economic renaissance. It never has.
Why the banking industry is not a paragon of free markets, efficiency, or honesty
Despite making record profits and paying record returns to shareholders it resents paying taxes.

The state is not needed for censorship. Private companies are shaping public discourse with censorship (lex X), withdrawing sponsorship (lex BA) and disciplining employees for political statements. Theroux will be fine, but ordinary people are being silenced.

Any fool blithely saying they’ve now had a bit of a think about the ECHR and we should leave - is part of why we’re now stuck in the mess of Brexit, being told by the far right to hand our human rights over to them to administer.

Stephen Miller describing the Democrats as a "domestic extremist organization" is a prelude to the abolition of elections and a complete fascist takeover of the USA. Nobody should be in any doubt whatever that that is what these people have in mind. That's where this is going.

GPT-5 has been pretty underwhelming so far. No shocking - the GPT-4 series also had similar issues at first. However we start to see LLM hitting their limit. Getting to the next steps won't happen without a fundamental shift from LLM into new architectures.
