The U.S. Virgin Islands always deserve transparency but especially when they're at the center of national news like the Epstein case.

We spoke to journalist Shirley Smith about her efforts to fix the territory's archaic public records laws.

Who are all these detention/concentration camps for?
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

And the Reform in Kent is also copying MAGA. However, they haven't been able to find the "absolute craziness" in local government spending they thought they would because they watched the propaganda from US DOGE.

Having watched about half of BBC's "Reform:Ready to rule" and so far it can only be described as a Reform party broadcast. Very weak questions from Kuenssberg and no follow up.

Major corporations dodge taxes by shifting profits to low/no tax jurisdictions. Wealthy use offshore havens.

Opacity means HMRC, Govt and tax abuse industry can't be held to account.

The US is traumatizing thousands of kids in detention camps. But we are also traumatizing *millions* of kids who are in hiding or fear their parents being snatched.

Like how we have tens of thousands of kids who have survived school shootings, and a whole generation shaped by active shooter drills.
