Labour are basing their new asylum policy on lies. I cannot support this.
The Home Secretary says "we have become the destination of choice in Europe, clearly visible to every people smuggler and would-be illegal migrant across the world"

That is a factually untrue claim: the Home Office shows that the UK is fifth, getting 1/10 claims, while Germany gets 1/5 claims

Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”

Appeasing the far-right gives the broader public the impression that their narrative is true. There is no way to stem support for Reform by endorsing their policies. Either you are fighting against them or you are, regardless of how you see yourself, fighting for them.

Dear Mahmood/Labour,

Once the strutting fascist, Yaxley Lennon, is taking credit for your policies, you must know you’ve completely lost your way. You need to get your head out of your arse and your account off X.

I came to this country as a child refugee. No English, no certainty, no idea what my life could become. Britain gave me refuge.

Not on a timer, not with conditions attached, but with a chance to grow roots.

UK set to limit refugees to temporary stays
Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

No Shabana Mahmood.
It is not.
Global finance tore Britain apart in ‘08. We let them off, let austerity ravage it for years, completely f*cked it with Brexit, then Covid added a rancid cherry.
What’s tearing Britain apart is scaremongering about illegal immigration.
You should be f**king ashamed.

should all be reporting on Reform UK and Russian bribery.

RT if you agree!!

Why are the media ignoring such a blatant story?!

Can we all just accept that the stuffed crust experiment has failed. Sure, more cheese being better is close to an axiomatic truth but let's be honest here, it's closer to mashed potato than it is to cheese and what psycho wants a pizza with mash rolled into the crust. Stop it.

The world's gone mad. I've just seen the headline of the daily mail and I agree with it 100% Mandelson should be removed immediately and I'm starting to think Starmer backing him is making his position untenable. What a massive political fuck up Starmer is turning out to be.
