I can't stress enough that you should take every opportunity that comes your way to support your local public libraries. Many of them are currently struggling and are being DEFUNDED. Local action matters on this front. Don't sit back until those libraries are gone before taking ACTION.

A lot of what people imagine politically for this country can't actually happen under the current Democratic party. That's something that I don't see lots of people actually reckoning with. There is no way to do most of the things that some people want to do through the Democratic party.

When your enemies are fighting your job is to add fuel to the fire not yell at the people saying that it's good that they are fighting. A lot of people on this app have never been in a fist fight and it shows daily.

If these people are ever thrown out of power, I hope we all understand there is no reformist pathway for institutions like this as much as Dems might desperately wish and claim there is.

Senators on the brink of retirement who lived full, wealthy lives and never feared the loss of their own healthcare voting for their constituents to die from their inability to afford the same is treasonous

The status quo delivered us to this moment of fascist acceleration. As Democratic elites in Washington keep proving, they have nothing to offer but behavior that abets and fosters more of the same. Their trajectory is as fixed as the right's.

Mamdani speaks.

"My friends, we have toppled a political dynasty. I wish Andrew Cuomo only the best in private life, but let tonight be the last time I say his name, as we turn the page that abandons the many in favor of the few."

They aren't afraid of Mamdani, they are worried about what he would unleash among VOTERS. That those voters would say: "actually, we're not buying this centrist bullshit you've been shoveling for decades, we want something else." That's what's being litigated in these Dem elites are worried essays.
