Have been thinking about “immigration has been tearing this country apart.” Surely I’m not the only person to think that it isn’t true, but inflamed rhetoric about immigration by politicians is what is tearing this country apart and so statements like that only makes it worse.

I was leafletting recently in a deprived area. I saw several Reform U.K. posters. Farage is a con man who will do nothing to improve the lives of anyone who votes for this company which is masquerading as a party. The BBC and other media outlets are responsible for giving him a platform.

The BBC's justification for platforming Farage beyond the actual significance of his small parliamentary party are his polls. A rather cynical explanation, for he wouldn't be where he is without the constant, uncritical appearances he's given on the BBC. It's a (literally) vicious circle.

The joy of living in a so called democracy is that come a GE, we can vote for a number of parties but get the same policies.
Whereas in the PRC, they cannot vote but get long term policies that are intended to benefit everyone
