Yesterday, I posted profiles of Canadian soldiers who died in Afghanistan.
I hope you will have the time to read each of them. However short and fragmentary, each bears witness to the families, from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Quebec, or Alberta, whose sons and daughters deployed to Kandahar.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

The most compelling argument for this is that Sam was once a baby raised without ChatGPT, and look how he turned out.
FALLON: “And do you use ChatGPT when raising your baby?"

ALTMAN: "I cannot imagine figuring out how to raise a newborn without ChatGPT."

I've been hesitant to write something like this because I didn't want to give oxygen to Alberta separatists. The conversation alone is dangerous.

But with the threshold to a separation referendum lowered so dramatically, we can't let myths out there go unchecked. www.coreyhogan.ca/p/three-albe...

In the late 1970s, the corporate tax rate was the same or lower in Quebec than Ontario. But corporations and head offices were going the other way - from Montreal to Toronto.

Stoking the coals of separatism helps nobody. It's a small and impractical idea - and it's bad for business.
