What possibly could be the reason for this surge in media mergers? 🤔

Couldn't possibly be that they can bribe their way into the approvals could it? Nah... our government is #1, top notch in the world! Zero corruption! That's those 4th world countries, not this one!top of the heap!

My cousin recently used USPS to send me something but the computer said my address didn't exist and refused to insure the package he was sending me as a result. This is news to me, my house has been there almost 100 years with the same address! AI is ruining everything.
Last week there were sirens and helicopters going crazy in my neighborhood (very unusual unless a fire) so I search on several engines for what is going on.
No matter the search, the AI couldn't even get the right County (let alone city) from my Zip Code!
AI is complete & total garbage.

I had this grand idea to make gifts this year but halfway through the first one it dawned on me that zero of them would appreciate the time/ expense and think I "cheaped out" by making them instead of buying.
Each gift costs $30-$80 in supplies and takes 2-8 hrs to make. @min wage that's $218 each

Driving to work on Monday I saw a Trump banner with a swastika made of the confederate stars and bars on a freeway overpass...in southern California.

I am happy to report it was taken down but I am disgusted it even exists.
Swastikas, nooses and the Confederate flag are reportedly no longer considered to be hate symbols by the U.S. Coast Guard

it won't get as much attention because the U.S. press doesn't care about infrastructure, but the Trump admin is also threatening to withhold billions of dollars in infrastructure bill broadband grants if states pass laws focused on making broadband affordable or try to enforce net neutrality
Yesterday, an Executive Order designed to prevent states from regulating AI within their own borders was leaked. If signed, this Executive Order would establish an AI litigation “task force” at the Justice Department to threaten, harass, & sue states that pass any bill deemed “unlawful.”

Private equity and Air BnB.
Neither are "illegal"
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."
