We got HBO & Showtime around when I was 8, 9 years old. So these movies were played on a loop around ‘82/‘83, and I’d watch them over and over. As much as Star Wars or The Wizard of Oz, these movies imprinted on my soul and formed my taste in a way something can only do when your brain is a sponge.
