I really don’t wanna hear about Sydney Sweeney’s good genes when this is Halle Berry at almost 60. Now this is good genes.

Finally watched #BlackPhone2 tonite. Surprised how much I dug it. Yes, it’s A Nightmare on Elm St. + a dash of The Shining, but it feels inspired by those movies instead of a bad knock off. The Grabber is scarier in this one than the first. Creepy watching this one late at nite in an empty theater

Had to wear the shirt today. “It is happening again.” (I’m just a portlier version of my 16 year old self)

Not only was Craigslist “Grindr before Grindr,” it was actually better. I said what I said.

35 years ago tonite, me & my high school friends got together to watch the episode of #TwinPeaks revealing Laura Palmer’s killer after 7 months, which seemed like an eternity back then. David Lynch’s harrowing hour of TV left us shook. Terrifying, beautiful, iconic. Packs the exact same punch now.

If this new HBO Max mockumentary docuseries with Jimmy Olsen as host is going to spend a whole season on Gorilla Grodd, there's almost no way this show doesn't stealthily introduce the DCU version of The Flash, since he's Grodd's main squeeze. nerdist.com/article/jimm...

Happy 35th anniversary to the most iconic Greatest Hits package of all time, #Madonna’s “The Immaculate Collection,” released on November 9, 1990. It remains M’s biggest selling album at 30 million copies, and it’s still the highest selling compilation album from a solo artist, 3+ decades later. 👑

I couldn’t even have one full week — not one WEEK — to call myself “a proud democrat” and be serious about it. >sigh<

Don’t know who drew this gorgeous image of Wonder Woman (can’t make out the signature), but why these hoop earrings?? It’s giving “Night out with the girls at Florentine Gardens in Hollywood, circa 1987.” 🤣 if you’re of a certain age and grew up in Southern California, you knew this girl.

They’re never gonna make the Tom Cruise version of Lestat, he has some weird contract thing where he doesn’t allow toys of himself made. 🙄 I had to find a custom one on Etsy to complete the family.

The only time the actors who portray Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, & Leatherface appeared together in costume was for a photo spread in People Magazine of all places. Almost 40 yrs later, and this is still the Mt. Rushmore of modern horror. (Maybe Ghostface replaces Leatherface tho)

“Whammy!” I’d say is solidly “Good.” But the B-52s have three other albums that legit qualify as “Masterpiece,” so I’d say that makes up for that one just being ok.

Nightwing was the most popular superhero costume this year, and pulled that off without a current movie or TV series. Dick Grayson is one of DC’s most popular heroes, and the fact that WB has never really capitalized on that with a movie or solo series is kinda baffling.

If this is the MCU #XMen lineup, as today's rumors suggest...I am ok with this. (Iceman supposedly has a small role, too.) We shall see. I'm also ok with everyone supposedly being teenagers/early twenty-somethings too.

My partner went to the swap meet this morning and found this Buffy the Vampire Slayer Tarot deck and got it for me. They’re super cute, but the Three of Swords is triggering and outright dark-sided. Real Buffy fans know why 👀

Vampires, witches, and Frankenstein ruling 2025 horror, and I’m all about it. (We won’t talk about Wolf Man. Who’s she?)

Ooh I have one of these too… circa 1981 maybe?

Absolutely loved Guillermo del Toro’s #Frankenstein… loved the art direction, the acting, the costumes, the score, the sets, the melodrama. My inner goth teen ate it all up. My only complaint is the CGI animals looked super fake, but that’s just a quibble. I even loved the ending. 🖤

>gasp< Not a SIX YEAR age difference! She’s but a child! What 28 year old could make an informed decision to marry a 34 year old?? And meeting on a dating app?! Who does THAT??

I’m sorry, I just can’t with this bullshit. 🙄

Name your fav superhero that isn’t DC or Marvel

Buffy Anne Summers. She might not have a costume, but “the Slayer” is a title, she has superpowers, she saved the world a lot, she’s died more than once and come back, and starred in many comic books. That’s superhero shit. She counts.

“Confessions on a Dance Floor” isn’t #Madonna’s best album, (that’s still “Ray of Light”) …BUT it’s my favorite. So glad M released this 20 Years Edition,if only to finally have the continuous version on streaming at last. “Super Pop” is pure M ego trip , and I ❤️ it. Now give me COADF Pt. 2, you ho!

There’s even an Ensign Ro minifigure for the LEGO Enterprise-D shuttle pod. Extra “Tasha who?” energy 🤣
