Idc what anyone says, I thought that Direct was FANTASTIC.
A lot of great and shocking reveals, especially RE9 coming to Switch 2.
The Mario stuff was cute, Prime 4 looks AMAZING, the third party lineup for Switch 2 looks STRONG.
And ending with a new Fire Emblem was the cherry on top for me.

At Gamescom, one sentiment remained consistent: We need to make games quicker. And to do that, more and more studios are turning to AI.

As I've mentioned before. Revenue is up YoY. there is no shortage of revenue. The games industry's revenue dwarfs every other popular entertainment medium.
Its good to remember that there is no shortage of revenue in the industry. in FY2024 the industry earned more revenue than ever, and its set to top that milestone in 2025. The players are there, and spending more money than they ever have.

They don’t “just” translate - they rewrite jokes and idioms to recreate the same emotional (or funny) in a different culture and language style, and give invaluable advice on character, regional dialects, and cultural norms
