The current administration’s narrative that Harvard (and all universities) feel “entitled” to federal dollars misleads the public. Nor are these funds a “privilege” 1/n
Harvard may have a lot of issues, but none of the accusations in this acid-tripping letter are it. Don't know whether to laugh or cry as I watch monkeys tear up pearl strings.
🚨🚨 Deranged letter from Education Secretary Linda McMahon to Harvard’s president, cutting off federal funding for any new grants.

Worth reading in full. It is NUTS.

Mike spotted this before the rest of us. 🫡

Publications from 2025 are shared more on Bluesky than on X/Twitter.
About to talk to medical affairs colleagues, with the news that Bluesky is carrying more posts about new journal publications than X #bluesky #altmetrics #x #xparrot

Two truths and a lie

Truth: There are adverse events from MMR and all vaccines.

Truth: People die, albeit very, very, VERY rarely.

BIG FUCKING LIE: the MMR does NOT cause measles or any sequelae. It prevents measles. It’s safe and effective. Measles disables & kills children. Vaccinate your kids
RFK Jr on the measles vaccine: "There are adverse events from the vaccine. It does cause deaths every year. It causes all the illnesses that measles itself cause."

Has anyone seen a woman with severe itching, a low/normal alkphos over 10 years, a biopsy that shows minimal fibrosis, mild interface hepatitis and bile duct injury and a sky high AMA titer, SP-100 and GP-210?
Symptomatic PBC with normal alkphos?
Treat or not?

@NIH needs thoughtful, deliberate, transparent, and accountable reform.
Not this chaos!

Instead of uniting, many are exploiting the crisis to push their own agendas.

This division leaves our community fractured while decades of progress is being recklessly discarded!
