Please do not forget about Gaza. Direct mutual aid has been crucial to the survival of so many attempting to rebuild their lives there - but since the alleged “ceasefire” donations have fallen greatly. The least we can do is donate when we can.
Idk how we can even help with this, no one is giving anymore. I saw a mutual aid volunteer in Gaza (who fundraises in Arabic) say donations are down 90%. 90!!!!

Not even rebuilding, just surviving day to day. In the past month, mutual aid through the giving circle:
- Saved a woman’s life
- Got kids a tent - their only shelter (in the rain!) had been a plastic sheet
- Helped with ongoing care for a woman with degenerating lupus
- more; I’m out of characters

Join us Canadians who have stopped all travel to the states, including Disney parks. They're seeing a hit already; if you collectively stop going as well it could hurt them badly. 🤘
cancelling Disney+ and Hulu is well and good but it’s not a huge hit on an individual level
but Disney adults? people who spend real money at the parks? you guys can make a dent, call ‘em up and tell them your vacation is postponed until they pull their heads out of their asses

Heard from a friend at Disney+ that there are multiple levels of freakout internally, both from internal dissatisfaction, concerns about subscription cancelations, and of course the big one: concern about a boycott spilling over into parks and cruises.
