I just watched Trudeau's speech on the tarifs. I think it will go down in history as one of Canada's finest moments. As a Frenchman who has lived in and visited Canada many times, I couldn't feel more proud of this country and its people, both so dear to my heart. 🇨🇦❤️

Tout ce qu'explique @chittimarco.bsky.social est valable pour le GPSO. En mettant de côté la faisabilité technique de la modernisation de la voie actuelle, on voit ici l'impact de la mixité des circulations. NB : c'est bien moins un pb entre fret et TER.
That's what running fast service in mixed traffic with local one does to your local service: either it crowds it out or, like in this graphic timetable example of the Adriatic line (probably the busiest mixed-traffic line in Italy), it lengthen local service's trip time considerably.

managed to grab a double espresso at Gare de Lyon's Pret (hall 3, underneath the numered platforms) and it's actually A-OK: not a bucket of water, some bitterness, actual coffee flavor. grain is prob too roasted but all in all, a decent cup. A comforting treat after a hectic ride to the station 😮💨
