Coworker: it’s funny that you say you hate Power BI when I know how much you love Microsoft. I mean listen to you talk about your Excel sheets.

Me: you misunderstand, my autistic love of spreadsheets eclipses my hatred of Microsoft products.

I love that my husband’s cough and breathing problems have improved so much even above normal since getting on antibiotics that we’re now questioning just how long they’ve had pneumonia

One of the most humiliating period experiences is having pain and you try meds and eating and drinking water and nothing is helping and then you do a few yoga stretches and let out a huge fart and suddenly everything is better

Asking my manager if we can just run this in place of our regular cybersecurity posts about online shopping
Yeah, I think you can say we watch TV.

I’ve been making dog food for our 15 year old Pomeranian in the rice cooker (1 part brown rice, 1 part vegetables, 2 parts chicken, a lil peanut butter) and now that has evolved into dogfood for boys where I use beans instead of chicken and add more seasoning

I love whenever articles like this are all “SEE THE UNREASONABLE ANGRY DEMANDS OF THIS SJW TEACHER” and the teacher’s comment are always “please actually cite sources and try not to call your classmates demonic”

@pyramidmaster.bsky.social is dutifully reading every message I send them immediately despite sitting mere feet from me and playing the guitar. Good husband.

As my family gather and talk and eat and catch up and share quality time together, I am thankful to be 100% in my own head on the 13th hour straight of imagining yoda's eyes widening as the car bumper rushes towards him without slowing.

thanksgiving is a time for people to come together, to celebrate the spirit of unity despite our differences, and to demonstrate that, here is busta rhymes performing "break ya neck" with raphael the ninja turtle

The only work that tricked me was The Saint of Bright Doors which made me think it was in third person
Saying a work "tricked you" or "manipulated you" is so weak in terms of critiquing it it blows my mind everytime I read it. It reminds me of that post thats like "callout post for mom, she gaslit me by covering her face to vanish and suddenly reappear moments later in what she calls "peek a boo""

I wish more directors would try to make every scene look good enough that you could pause it and just stare

Sometimes I think about how I have the largest age gap relationship out of my parents and grandparents and feel weird about that. But on the other hand I’m not like great grandpa marrying his stepdaughter!

The building, 1 block from Lake Michigan, was (purposely) so damaged that night it was declared uninhabitable, thereby avoiding long eviction processes to empty the building so a large developer could tear it down to build expensive luxury condos
