If I had to put money on a human to come through for the good of us all, I'd put it on Karen Carney. What a woman. And if I had to put money on a #Strictly Pro for making sure we saw his partner, I'd put it on Carlos. What a choreographer. I delight in them both.

I'm OK with paying a licence fee for BBC, but really not OK with paying Trump. Over the years, we've seen so much waste of tax payers' money, but somehow this has symbolism way beyond the waste of the past. If he gets a single penny out of this, all hope is lost. I want a court case, not a pay-off.

Another thing I like about #CelebrityTraitors is that as someone who knows nothing about Rugby, I could have spent my whole life not knowing how awesome Joe M is but now I do.

I reckon Celia and Paloma should invite Alan round to dinner next week, wearing their final outfits. Wot larks! #CelebrityTraitors

Love how first thing all the banished/murdered say on #Traitors when they find out is 'but Paloma'. Much as I was gutted at the time, comforted by the thought the shortest time turns out the most iconic. And, we all get to remember how fab she looked as well, which is a win for Paloma, isn't it?

Liz Kendall's speeches are like someone reading a story to a primary school class (exaggerated tones/facial expressions), but with content that will give them nightmares (no-one ever lives happily ever after because they haven't saved enough).

We made Aesop. He is a crowd-sourced literary celebrity. He is the lie that sustains the truth of his stories. And at a time when the distinction between fact and fiction seems paper thin, the way we construct the fictions that support our facts - what we call “a narrative” - matters more than ever.
📜 New AESOP I - Virtue Signaller or Fake News Merchant? 🏛️

Part One of Three: Stories have had a moral for as long as we've had stories. So why is Aesop, enduringly, one of the few moralists we accept can dish it out?

Agree. Many an evening, I've gone looking for this place.
someone should invent a Nighttime Internet, like a child lock but for that last hour before bed when you sort of want to pleasantly scroll for a bit but without getting confronted with The Constant Horrors

When once I reflected on my place in the world as a woman, it was a reflection on progress, and women who had gone before and fought for my future. In that reflection, I never for a moment imagined anything so abhorrent as being told to have more children by Nigel Farage.

In all the 'debate' now going on about young Europeans coming here to work/study for a couple of years, heard nothing yet (TV news) about young Brits getting a slither of opportunity at last, when God knows there's not much for them here. Much focus on 'economic gain' too; none on life enrichment.

Only two things get you sacked:

1. Explicitly or implicitly criticising Trump; and
2. Proving more popular than Trump.

That's it.
