Made one just before Xmas, but didn't trust defrosted strawberries to last overnight/had to save raspberries for Xmas day one. Trifle half made/shops closed; only had tin of mandarin slices to replace strawberries. Said trifle in transportable mode with lashings of Marsala; I think they liked it!
