📢 New paper on the impacts of AMOC collapse on European hydroclimate. 🌊

We find an AMOC collapse would exacerbate drought conditions across Europe, linked to reduced precipitation. In combination with climate change droughts are expected to become more frequent and severe.

Former US Vice President Mike Pence will be speaking at the Cambridge Union Society at 4pm tomorrow. I think this is the first visit to the society by a former US President or Vice President since Ronald Reagan in 1990. No doubt there will be a substantial security presence.

Seriously how did anyone expect making access & sales into the EU27 (& EFTA4) much more difficult, without making it *equally* compensating easier to access & sell anywhere else (it's not in UK's sole gift to), going to do anything else other than fuck over & contract the UK economy?

I cannot understand when the subject of criminal migrants comes up from Farage etc, the media never mention the systems we pulled out of after Brexit.
