"In theater" is a nice touch for describing Minneapolis. Worth noting the people involved, from Trump to Miller to Noem to Homan to Bovino to the majority of ICE and CBP goons, have never served in the military. They're playing out a war fantasy, dressing up in army costumes, like incredible losers.

Experts and left-leaning influencers keep telling us that Trump doesn't have the power to stop the 2026 or 2028 elections. But, it doesn't matter if he can't "stop" elections if he can just steal the ballots after the fact. His regime will decide who the winners are.
Am I reading this right? I THINK it basically says that since he couldn't legally obtain the voting information he sent in a goon squad and stole it. But I'm not doing well today so...anybody?

So back in June Alex Padilla was tackled and detained by ICE for trying to ask a question at a press conference. The story from the administration was he attacked her.

Okay so I was actually at this encounter, filmed the aftermath, and am briefly visible in this video, and I would point out that what he does here is briefly kick a car twice. ICE beats him up, shoots pepper balls into the crowd, and launches tear gas at everyone else before leaving.

Yes - until you see it firsthand, it’s hard to understand how upsetting and enraging it is to see these guys operate in your community. They are dressed for war, they beat civilians up, they openly antagonize neighbors, they’re masked, they carry people away. Everyone is livid at every scene.
This video clip also demonstrates that Alex Pretti was made very angry by the brutal, lawless violence of the DHS. That makes him just like me, and a large part of America.
