The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.

🧵 It is exactly a year ago since the general election. Labour have turned out to be a massive disappointment, the Tories have almost vanished into obscurity, and Reform are still twats. Here's a little story from last year from when the Conservatives wanted me to work for them.

Another mad read. Woman hosted corporate laptops in Arizona so North Koreans could be "in America" remote workers for US companies. Anything for a $ - a good paying 9-5 job?

Spreading the word @kirkhamilton.com. Can you add "Native New Yorker - Odyssey" to your ever expanding to-do list. 12' inch disco mix?

Why? Great chords, smashing arrangement with wonderful piano, "joy", and also that sax solo and trumpets leading to the bridge...?

It's right up your street :)

Here's Marjorie Taylor Greene literally telling a British reporter to "go back to your country" and berating her for trying to ask a question.

Thames Water have had a £3bn loan approved. Their debts will now cost them £900m a year in interest, which is where one third of your water bill goes. Yet they managed to pay shareholders £158m in dividends last year. Someone ought to nationalise the greedy fuckers…

Getting a haircut this morning, an experience which combines 3 of my worst things - being confined to a chair, forced to stare at my reflection & making small talk for an extended period of time.

I'd happily pay extra to be put under general anesthetic for the whole thing & woken when it's done.
