Hen Harrier ‘Susie’, whose chicks were stamped to death in 2022, has been found dead on a North Pennines grouse moor with gunshot injuries
If ever there was an example demonstrating the high level of persecution faced by Hen Harriers on UK grouse moors, the lack of consequences for the offenders, and the lack of justice for the victim…

Absurd claim that White-tailed Eagles ‘snatched’ five Shetland ponies leads to inevitable call to ‘shoot eagles’
The absurd claim that White-tailed Eagles had ‘snatched’ five Shetland pony foals on South Uist hit the headlines at the end of August. A crofter / farmer named Donald Cameron said that…

A great campaign. I saw this scene earlier this year. Children playing in the river. Denied access to the river bank. You only get access if you have the money to buy it. Seems wrong to me.

Slashing welfare to harm the disabled, slashing building regulations to harm nature, slashing financial regulation to harm the stability of the economy…

That’s all Labour can do is harm the working class. All Labour does is step on us. They have nothing else.

Pure Tory.

It is no great surprise that the popularity of the Green Party is growing. I think they were once regarded as somewhat extreme. Now they seem to the only voice defending what many people prize.

We want to live in a country where Swifts still soar, Skylarks still sing, rivers run clean, and communities thrive.

Tomorrow, we take that vision to Westminster: to speak up for climate, nature and each other.

Who's with us?

This is becoming a pattern with Labour across the board (inc environment, trans, disability, etc etc). Instead of behaving at their best they are behaving at their worst. They are ignoring their own promise, lying, and actively doing damage. They want the gold star, don't want to do the work for it.
I was concerned when I read my Bristol South MP’s latest post on nature, housing and the proposed planning bill so I went through each point one by one and fact checked it. I simplified it into a table for those with short attention spans💚 All sources are linked at the end.🧵

According to ONS data we actually only need to build around 120,000 homes a year to meet population growth (including immigration) so where did the 4.3 million (654k a year for 10 years) figure you see thrown around come from?
