you know what the single most evil thing they do now is? Most of the buprenorphine injections are now bundled(often silently) with suboxone, making it so that if the buprenorphine isn't enough for you toward the end of your month/week, tough shit, nothing else you take will help either

Two years ago I had a completely psychotic CRNP fresh out of a hokey catholic "anti-medication-based therapies" nursing program quarter my dosage in a single month
normally a 2 year titration schedule
all because the DEA scared every clinic out of proper dosage protocols

It sure must suck to have lawmakers making laws about your business when they don't understand anything about it, I wonder what that might be like and all

Rick Scott was CEO of a large, for-profit healthcare company called HCA. While Rick Scott was CEO, HCA stole so much money from Medicare they were fined $1.7 Billion.
Rick Scott told me his plan would be to take all of the remaining ACA subsidies and redistribute them to HSA accounts and people can then buy whatever insurance a state certifies. Basically a repeal/replace.
He denied when I asked wouldn’t that create two-tiered system where sick pay much more…

The cute answer is to begin the new story with the death of 007, recruit a new guy and have his name be revealed later as James Bond. You never specify what the old 007’s name was or if the new guy has adopted the name, so people can believe what they like. Reboot or cont’d? Don’t care. Action!

So his death at the end of the last movie pays for his sins, delivers his reward and ends the Craig era all in one. The whole point of it is that it’s self-cauterising - which is why it’s so desperately final. There can’t, on his terms, be a way out.

PS the more I think about it, the more I think Craig’s Bond was essentially in love with death. His self-loathing and his alienation shift Bond’s devil-may-care daring to a kind of existential indifference. His longing for a judgement can only be delivered in his extinction.

So there’s my only real point, I suppose: the real question is what this show will be. How you handle the segue follows from that choice.
I hope they’re enjoying the discussion, because they get to play either some really great toys here :)

But the serious (ish) side of the conversation is about how to go forward with the Bond story in general - of which the “how is he alive?!” convo is a bellwether.
