Hi all! I'm Esmerelda (sometimes Della for short). I talk a lot about Star Trek and being trans, and sometimes other nerdy/queer stuff too.

Plus sometimes i'll post selfies or pics of the arts and crafts i do.

A selfie! I'm on a summertime hike near a little creek wearing a yellow sundress with prints of raccoons all over it, along with a beige mesh outback hat and green sunglasses. My hair is reddish brown, fading into purple. I got a sunburn that day, along with a lot of pokey weed seeds stuck in my shoes. Selfie. I'm sitting on a couch wearing a Maya Kern skirt with luna moths all over it (my favorite skirt), with a mint top that matches the moths and blue denim jacket. A lot of my selfies feature denim jackets. I'm also wearing a greek fishers cap that matches the top and moths, a KN95 mask, and my favorite leather yellow purse. Also, my hair is blonde this time. The jacket features a pin of Mary Jane Watson kissing Ghost-Spider (Spider-Gwen) and one that says "Healthcare is a human right." The purse has a rainbow PIC-style combadge, a pin with the windfish egg from Link's Awakening and the text "Keep Dreaming," a neurodivergent infinity pin in trans and lesbian flag colors, a pronoun pin that says She-Her in the She-Ra logo font, a pin of an astronaut helmet with the text "lunar lesbian," a pin of an estradiol molecule, a syringe-shaped pin that says "thanks, science!" and a pin of a raccoon wearing a witch's hat. A cosplay i recently completed. It's a Star Trek: The Next Generation Starfleet uniform. It's the 2360s type-B skant, in engineering gold. It features the Future Imperfect/Paralells combadge that shows the officer's rank on the badge, and also the collar rank pips. My rank, as always, is Lieutenant Commander. A picture i drew to use on my winter solstice cards in 2022. It's a picture of me sitting on a rooftop in downtown Salt Lake City, drinking some hot cocoa. I'm wearing an emerald green sweater and black leather vest, plus blue jeans and black leather knee-high boots. My hair is ginger red, fading to purple in this one. It's night time in the winter. A waxing crescent moon is rising over the Wasatch mountains and snow is gently falling. There's a paper bag full of tacos next to me, and a nearby raccoon is rolling a stealth check in the hopes of stealing them from me.

Saw my siblings today for the first time in ages and they all look 20 years older than the last time i saw them. Meanwhile, i look 10 years younger than the last time they saw me...

We have Tyrannosaurus at home

Finished drawing my winter solstice card today and it's kind of annoying that i STILL have more work to do to print it up and send it to be people before i'm done with the project.

It kinda feels like just doing the drawing SHOULD be the end.

Okay, i said MONTHS ago i was going to make one of these and i finally did it!

But i have no clue how they managed to make these back in the 80s. I would have gone crazy trying to get everything the right size and positioning without having digital layers.

Heat butter, soup, and onions. Stir in cheese and sour cream. Stir into potatoes. Put in 9 x 13 baking dish. Put buttered crumbs on top. Bake 30 min. at 350° All the things, ready to made funeral potatoes on my stove

i keep thinking i should get a meditation lamp but every time i look at anything that makes actual fire i just think cheap battery powered candles can do the same job better and easier

and also i have no idea how to actually meditate so it's moot anyway

Basically a lemon drop, but i used pink grapefruit vodka and added soda water and WAAY more edible glitter than i intended to.

About a month ago my just dnace+ subscription suddenly stopped working, so i contacted ubisoft tech support and went several rounds with (i assume) an AI that kept asking for proofs-of-purchase, which i provided, and then it would claim i hadn't provided and ask for again...
