Should’ve been born a dilettante.
Not only that but if you so much as *ask* me to do something for the common good I am morally bound to begin undermining any steps taken to protect people.
I don't want to be a "I'm not surprised" guy but covid made it clear that a substantial part of the population wants the freedom to do whatever they want even if it kills them and/or others
strangers are fighting to the death in my menchies over this pretty innocuous take and slinging devastating counterarguments like “what if I had to run away from a murderer” and “I like speeding”

Honestly I think they’re just mad they mis-timed the complete collapse of literacy and critical thinking by a generation.
Tech bros shocked that normal human beings enjoy thinking

Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved towards acceptance?

The Pope’s missive continued, “of course! I’ve rewritten your homily to be more accessible without losing that erudite prose. Changes are highlighted in bold.”
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

“Why are people so pessimistic towards this thing that makes everything worse and kills the planet in doing so? More market research is needed.”
It's not this platform. It's all of society that hates AI

Fox guest on how to save money during the holidays:

"Remember, adults don't need gifts. Focus on the people in your life who are aged 3 to 18. Grandma doesn't need slippers. If they don't live by you, don't get them a gift."

Addendum: abhorrent, shitty, and disingenuous views do not deserve valid consideration or debate simply because they are presented.

Their entire point is to bog down progress and talk in circles. Dismiss them out of hand like the distracting nonsense they are.
refusing to debate someone, online or irl, about a topic of such moral urgency to you that you cannot perform emotional dissociation and treat it like an intellectual puzzle, is not being “closed-minded,” it just might be saving your psyche and your health for more constructive pursuits.

“I just want to get ahead of the liberal media and say this has absolutely nothing to do with our giant crybaby president who gives bribes to stop people from opposing him in any way.”

My wireless thermometer app is pushing this insane proprietary social media platform.

Like, “hang out with other people who like remotely taking temperatures and talk about UFC, which is trending on ThermometerForum, for some reason!”

But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.
