Fascists don't have a simple "difference of opinion." They want to literally force everyone they don't like out of society, into jails, or worse. They've been screaming it for years and actually doing it! You don't preserve democracy by inviting them in and giving them the run of things.

The etymology of sabotage derives from the practice of workers throwing their wooden shoes - the sabots of immigrants to Northern English mills from the Lowlands - into the looms; to get a break. The looms were soft, it took time to fix 'em. Also: 'clogging up the works'. Class revolt before unions.
