You feel bad about us talking openly about the leadership protecting a woman who is currently on trial for killing a teenager and running from the scene? Honestly, good. You should feel bad about what you are doing. All you have to do to stop us talking about it is show some moral backbone.

You know…I wasn’t calling it ‘murder caucus’ before, but it is catchy. And too true.

Permanent supportive housing is a much better investment than tiny home villages. It just takes political will.

The actually amazing, intelligent, thoughtful people don't get rewarded for it. They aren't rich, they aren't powerful, because our society doesn't actually reward hard work and merit and cleverness and expertise. It uses them, and then projects their virtues onto those who are on top by chance.

Just another incredibly obvious election hot take.

it’s also straightforwardly a lie?

like the reason we have Trump is because America is a white supremacist patriarchy that refused to hold wealthy white men like Trump accountable and 10 billionaires decided to blow up the country because pronouns were in emails and wages got slightly better.

Don’t forget the private docks on our public Cedar Lake! And the wealthy homeowners who have been allowed to commandeer public land for their private use. 🤨

I would like to remind everyone that the Target that was raided and burned in Minneapolis during the uprising was used as a lab by Target and the MPD to test new surveillance tech. It wasn't chosen at random, there was a purpose.

Minneapolis deserves a mayor we can trust on police reform. The officer who killed Amir Locke was put in charge of use-of-force training by Jacob Frey’s police chief. When the situation became public, Frey doubled down on the chief’s decision before the people of Minneapolis forced a change.

7/ Caught in a lie, Frey never apologized. Instead, we got his famously weasely “Language became more casual, including my own.” BTW this is the 1st election voters can hold Frey accountable for lying & Locke dying, but the incident is almost memory-holed in coverage. www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/ne...
Minneapolis Mayor Frey Admits To Being Misleading On 'No-Knock' Policy Changes
"Language became more casual, including my own, which did not reflect the necessary precision or nuance. And I own that," Mayor Jacob Frey said.

I'm not saying peaceful protest is useless. but let's not lie to people and tell them the violence they'd endure will inevitably change hearts and minds.

we see how our current political and media sphere is quick to victim-blame and misrepresent protesters.
